OSPS is committed to helping defendants address critical needs, including housing, employment, mental health, substance use and health care resources, among others.

Pretrial Service Officers Can Help Defendants

  • Secure transportation through local transit agencies for court appearances in select counties
  • Obtain personal care kits
  • Obtain naloxone for drug overdose prevention
  • Connect with community resources, including:
    • Mental health treatment
    • Employment
    • Housing
    • Substance use treatment
